Why eat healthy foods?

Having a healthy diet and excersising every day can help you stay fit and healthy. Fruits and vegetables, as well as milk, grains, and meat and beans have the nutrients your body needs to keep active. Is also very crucial to do physical activity every day. Each person should eat at least 3 ounces of grains, 2 cups of vegetables, 1 1/2 cups of fruits, 3 cups of milk, and 5 ounces of meat and beans. Your body only needs a little bit of oil, since oils are fats in liquid form; a person needs a little bit of fat to keep active and have energy for the rest of the day. Is better, though, to have oils with no trans fat.

On the other hand, eating too much junk food, like chocolate, chips, and others, do not benefit your body's normal function; it can harm your body. Chips, for example, have too much fat and salt, which can lead to high cholesterol and it is not good for your body. Chocolate has too much sugar, and having too much sugar can lead to Diabetes, a disease caused by having too much sugar in your body. Mayonnaise has a lot of oil, which means it contains too much fat, so having too much mayonnaise may lead to obesity as well as other problems. These are only a few disadvantages of having too much junk food.
